Dance With US

Dance With US Festival celebrates all things dance at the University of Salford. The festival will platform youth groups coordinated by some of our alumni. There will also be works by postgraduate and undergraduate students that have been created in collaboration with lecturers Lisa Cullen and Elisa McCauley.

Our first year’s piece, Interference is an insight into their solos that were choreographed during their Dance Choreography Workshop module, led by Lisa Cullen. Year two will be showing the outcomes of their explorations found within their Interdisciplinary module, which was led by Elisa Macauley. Finally, the postgraduate students on the MA Choreography course will be showcasing various outcomes, in the public spaces, from their creative considerations and responses during their Choreographic Investigations module.

Look forward to an evening of celebration and diversity as we provide a platform for our emerging artists before they take the next step into the dance industry.

Please note that there will be a pre-show performance in the Atrium at 6:30pm.

ADMISSION: Pay What You Can.

Pay What You Can is an ‘honesty box’ for the theatre. We and the artists will continue to programme and produce high quality events and ask you to pay what you can afford.

As a guide, for those in full time employment we would appreciate you paying between £5 and £8. We also understand people’s income can be precarious, hence the lower price options. All revenue from ticket sales for events at New Adelphi Theatre will always go back to support professional artists, through residencies, commissions, touring work or for more bespoke projects where the student experience is enhanced through co-creation with arts professionals. We thank you for all your continued support.

Please note all bookings and donations come with a 50p booking fee.

Please note that all tickets are for unallocated seating.
