New Adelphi Theatre Accessibility Quick Look
Entry to the New Adelphi Building is fully accessible with step-free access and double automatic doors.
There is level access to an accessible toilet, which are located on the ground floor behind the Box Office. There are additional toilets situated on the first floor above the Box Office, which can be accessed via the lifts.
There are three lifts, two standard and one large, that travel to the bar, First Gallery and Second Gallery of the theatre.
Our bar area (first floor) is accessible via the lift; the counter is not lowered but assistance is available if required.
There are designated seating areas for wheelchair users on the left and right-hand side of the theatre stalls (ground floor).
We can accommodate six wheelchair users and their companions in the Theatre auditorium. We remove two seats per wheelchair user and allocate a complimentary ticket for the patron’s companion, so in total three consecutive seats are reserved per booking for wheelchair users. We can also accommodate any number of wheelchair users in the studio Theatre.
If you have limited mobility or are accompanied by a guide dog, please contact us and we will allocate you a seat with step-free access and extra room, on the left or right-hand side of the stalls.
If there’s anything we can do to assist you during your visit, let us know and we’ll do everything we can to make your visit to the New Adelphi Theatre a fantastic one!
