HO HO HO! The New Adelphi Comedy Night is back. The theatre may be closed for now but the show will go on…line!
Fast and funny comedy from CSzUK in collaboration with the University of Salford. New Adelphi Comedy Night features the comedy talents of CSzUK (ComedySportz) and students from the University of Salford. Shows mix improv, stand-up, sketch and more and are an excellent way for students to develop their comedy material in front of a live(stream) audience.
There will be plenty of lockdown laughs and festive fun in this mixed bill Comedy show. Professional improvisers CSzUK and a student guest are back with more unscripted gags and games followed by student stand-up and chat. The Stand-Ups will be competing for your laughs with the audience voting for their favourite.
Previous line-ups have included some of the best in upcoming student comedy talent including Chortle Student Comedian of the Year and ‘So You Think You’re Funny?’ winners and finalists. This is your chance to catch some of the best new comedians on the circuit today… and maybe get involved yourself in this highly interactive online show.
CSzUK have been entertaining audiences across the world since 2001 and have been providing lockdown laughs on zoom since March 2020. Coronavirus may be keeping us apart for now but let New Adelphi Comedy Night prove that laughter really is the best medicine*!
