Initiation

This piece forms part of the ‘The Future is Not Fixed’ festival

INITIATION

“We have run out of time. Climate change scientists and activists are not talking about implementing solutions that secure some distant future. We are fighting for the hope and future of All Life that is on the planet right now. It is now time for radical measures that, hopefully, buy us time and set us up to make better decisions for lasting recovery and change. Initiation is a conversation with the near future when a Global Green New Deal means we’ve gained a little more time on the clock to make things better. It is ritual. It is reflection. It is hope.”

– Playwrights Statement Angella Emurwon

We have created an immersive and interactive experience and want to take you on a journey with Mother Nature. Follow her as she calls for and pleas for your help to heal her earth, for everyone who inhabits it. Now and in the future.
