Can We Talk About Death? – Work in Progress

On 25th of May at 3.30pm, Dr Sheila McCormick will be sharing a scratch performance of her solo show Can We Talk About Death? to SAMCT staff as well as the wider public.

This performance emerges out of Sheila’s earlier research project Death Dinners: A Study of the Efficacy of Performance to Enhance Conversations Around Death and Dying.

Both the research project and Can We Talk About Death? actively work towards tackling ‘real-world’ issues related to palliative care, and the social taboos surrounding discussing death, dying and grief.

Feedback questionnaires will be handed to audience members after the show.

WARNINGS: Contains discussion on grief, death and dying.
